*Maintenance Mechanic will install, overhaul, dismantle, construct, inspect, replace, test and make mechanical and electrical repairs to buildings and mechanical equipment such as boilers, compressors, sprinklers, piping, plumbing, production and material handling equipment and controls.

*Weld and fabricate for repair or projects

*Perform plumbing repairs as required

* Read and interpret blue prints and schematic diagrams

*Perform preventative maintenance as required.

* Perform various inspections on safety equipment

* Input and retrieves information from the AS/400 main frame

* Participate in adhering to plant housekeeping requirements by picking up trash, sweeping work areas, and returning materials and equipment to their proper locations.

*Perform miscellaneous assignments as directed.

Requirements


*Formal training in electrical, building and machine operation

*Education or equivalent experience in electrical circuitry, including AC/DC, motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting, and hoist and crane repair.

* Visual acuity to read blue prints, diagrams, operating instructions, labels, meters, gauges, documents and instructions.

*3-5 years work experience in an industrial environment.

*Experience with boilers, compressors and sprinkler systems is preferred.

* Knowledge to PLC's is preferred

* Available to work up to 12 hours per day on rotating shifts, that could include weekends and holidays.
