Millwright Foremen - St. Augustine, FL
TITLE: MILLWRIGHT FOREMAN REPORTS TO: MILLWRIGHT SUPERINTENDENT JOB SUMMARY: The Millwright Foreman will be responsible for managing other millwrights, while presenting themselves and The Ronco Group. This person will show a willingness to teach and work with less experienced millwrights. The person must have the ability to run small jobs while possessing the ability to follow directions and always stress quality and safety. This person must be able to read and work off of blue prints, use a torch proficiently with a firm understanding of bearings, piping skills, rigging, steel erection, assembly skills and all around good mechanical skills. Overtime availability is required. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Review existing personnel and their skill level to determine what changes need to be made, e.g. additions, training. 2. Responsible for keeping personnel working safely and productively at all times. 3. Responsible for the quality of service and customer satisfaction. 4. Interact closely with maintenance and managers. 5. Ability to read, interpret, explain and enforce The Ronco Group policies and procedures. 6. Ability to communicate in verbal and written forms to a diverse group of individuals. 7. Ability to research and compile information as directed in a timely manner. 8. Ability to manage multiple groups of individuals with frequent interruptions. 9. Ability to supervise and direct all field personnel. 10. Ability to maintain a positive attitude and project a positive image of the company at all times. 11. Ability to conduct himself in a neat, orderly and professional manner. 12. Responsible for making sure personnel?s daily time is logged correctly. 13. Responsible to check all personnel have posses the proper tools as required. 14. Responsible for all company tools assigned to their job. 15. Responsible for keeping their work area clean and safe. 16. Responsible for filling out all incident report forms regardless of how minor. 17. Responsible for reviewing and communicating daily J.H.A reports to all field personnel. 18. Responsible to ensure there is no harassment of another employee, customer or client of the project whether of a sexual, racial or otherwise offensive nature. 19. Must be willing to travel to all Ronco locations. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES: ? The ability to work under stressful conditions and extreme heat. This person must possess the ability to work swing shifts and be in good physical condition to meet the high demands of the overall duties.
