JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: MILLWRIGHT

REPORTS TO: MILLWRIGHT FOREMAN

JOB SUMMARY:
To maintain, dismantle, and install machinery and mechanical service equipment, including ventilating and heating systems, and building repairs. At times overtime may be required. Must be able to travel to all Ronco customer facilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, moving, repairing and installing power shafts, pulleys, hoists, conveyors and other facility equipment. Starts up and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under OSHA requirements.
2. Working with concrete and cement to set up machine foundations, install power drives in correct position and aligning power shafts and pulleys.
3. Installs and or changes the layout of machines and mechanical equipment in a facility. Uses blueprints, company ?Facility Layout? handbook, conforming to local building codes and safe operating practices.
4. Ability, if no carpenter or painter is employed, carries out these trade functions.
5. Uses hoists, forklift truck, rollers or trolleys to move machinery. Frequently works with electrician or pipefitter to complete dismantling or installation jobs.
6. Where machine guards are not commercially available, makes or repairs machine guards and installs on machinery. Checks guards to assure equipment is closed properly.
7. Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous piping systems and corrective action taken or documented.
8. High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
9. Performs heavy maintenance work involving climbing, rigging, welding, and exposure to high pressure steam.
10. Responsible to have all tools as specified in employee handbook.
11. Valid state motor vehicle license.
12. Responsible for transportation to and from local job sites.
13. Conducts himself in a neat, orderly and professional manner.
14. Must be willing to travel to all Ronco customer facilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

? The ability to work under stressful conditions and extreme heat. This person must posses the ability to work swing shifts and be in good physical condition to meet the high demands of the overall duties.
