Metro Waste Paper Recovery Inc., which operates a large recycling plant in Surrey, has an immediate opening for a Plant Mechanic.

Duties of this position include performing preventative maintenance activities, completing various repair and maintenance projects and working on large projects with contractors, as required.

The successful applicant will have completed technical school training in a related discipline and/or possess journeyman status as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic. Should have a good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components, have proven troubleshooting ability, be a self-starter and well organized and have good communications and interpersonal skills.
